Eco Umbria aims at developing within its territory of reference the concept of Ecotourism or Sustainable Tourism improving an active collaboration between the three main sectors: Environment, Tourism and Culture .

Eco Umbria intends to coordinate travel activities maintaining a special concern towards the environment in which they take place contributing to an equilibrated and fair growth of the local economy.

In order to achieve its objectives Eco Umbria applies the following guidelines:

Promote activities strictly tied to regional territory, seasons and flora and fauna, enabling tourists to fully perceive and live the naturalistic experience and the beauty of landscapes;
Promote businesses, Inns, transports that best suit the concept of eco-compatibility;
Supply information addressing tourists towards choices that are eco-compatible.

Naturalistic Excursions and Animal watching (wild boar, European Wild Cat, Raptors, Wolf, Red Deer , etc.);
Olive Oil Tour : from the harvest to the tasting;
Wine Tour : from the harvest to the tasting;

Visits to Organic Bio-dynamic Farms, Mills, Vineyards, Beef Producers (free-range breeding);
